James Gurney – most famous for his Dinotopia series, is one of my favorite illustrators working today. Dinosaurs aren’t the only thing he can draw, as the following video of him sketching a quick portrait of Abraham Lincoln demonstrates. Surprise #1 comes in at about 0:25. I realized what suprise #2 is at about 0:50; you may be quicker on the uptake than me. Check it out:
